Prof Snowy Baijnath is looking for observational data of interactions between birds and Strelitzias – anything on how birds use the plants which may include collecting nectar, pollen, seeds or simply nest building. He would be very grateful for images that he could use for a publication on the family Strelitziaceae which includes three genera: Strelitzia (Africa, 5 species), Phenakospermum guyannense (Amazonia and northern South America) and Ravenala madagascariensis (Madagascar).
