Kindly contact the co-ordinator of any specific Outing beforehand to be sure that it will take place.

Participation is at your own risk. BirdLife Port Natal cannot be held responsible for theft/loss of property at any venue. You will be asked to sign an Indemnity Form at each Outdoor Activity.

OUTDOOR OUTINGS: Please don’t forget to bring your tea/lunch baskets and chairs to socialise afterwards. Please note that many places now charge so take entrance money with you on any outing. Outdoor Outings usually occur on the first Saturday & the third Sunday of every month, the second Wednesday of every third month. There are usually three or four Weekends Away during the year.

INDOOR MEETINGS: are usually held on the second Wednesday evening of every month (except February and December) at 19h00. Venue: Westville Methodist Church, Jan Hofmeyer Road, Westville.

BIRD RINGING: Normally starts very early, but people are welcome to arrive later and see what is going on.  Garth Aiston, Andrew Pickles and James Rawdon each ring in separate locations most months.

KRANTZKLOOF BIRDS: Usually an Indoor Meeting talk held at 09h30 on the second Tuesday of every second month at Krantzkloof Interpretive Centre starting in February each year. There is a small entrance charge for tea and biscuits – any profits go towards Conservation.

BMCG: The Bird Monitoring and Conservation Group meets at 13h30 on the second Saturday of each month. Details of venue are posted prior to the meeting. If you would like to improve your birding skills and knowledge or give something back to the birds please come along to the meeting.  Contact is Roy Cowgill on 031 2054459.
