A Blooming Success at the Kloof Conservancy Open Gardens!Β πŸŒΏπŸ•ŠοΈ

This past weekend’sΒ Kloof Conservancy Open Gardens ShowΒ was aΒ raging successΒ for BeKZN! Our stand was buzzing with activity and warmly received by a constant stream of visitors.

🌼 A heartfelt thank you to all our members who popped by to say hello, offer words of support, and purchase books, buffs, and pins. Your presence made a real difference.

πŸ‘Β Special thanks go toΒ Jane Morris, Tammy Harding, Greg Burgess, Steve Davis, Anneli Mynhardt, andΒ Ticky ForbesΒ for their exceptional effort overΒ bothΒ days.Β Β We’re also grateful toΒ Dave Rimmer and Jenny NormanΒ (Saturday) andΒ Sheryl VenterΒ (Sunday) for their willing assistance.

πŸ–₯️ Our impromptu bird identification sessionsβ€”gathered around the glorious 27-inch Mac Studioβ€”proved a hit, with learning and laughter in equal measure.

πŸŽ‰Β The best news?Β 43Β new membersΒ over the two days! We’re thrilled to welcome them all just in time for ourΒ Winter Solstice PartyΒ at Krantzkloof Conference Centre.

🌱 A big thank you toΒ Kloof ConservancyΒ for making space for NGOs like oursβ€”this kind of collaboration makes weekends like this so special. Some photos of our spot below – we had a wonderful deck all to ourselves and this allowed us to have a very festive and social atmosphere.

Onward and upward,
The BeKZN Committee
