We are publishing this edition during Arbor Week and I am pleased to be able to include an article by Richard Boon on the official Trees of the Year for 2025.

Our “species” authors (Steve Woodhall, Nicolette Forbes, Marlies Craig, Jeanne Tarrant and Pat McKrill) were asked to focus on reproduction and once again they have done their research and produced “must read” articles – did you know that some frogs resort to “kick-boxing” to prevail over their opponents!
