Indoor meeting : Wednesday 10 April 19h00 New Venue, Change of Speakers & Topic.

Dear all,

BirdLife Port Natal is delighted to let you know that to inaugurate our move to our new evening meeting venue, we have two well-known members of the club, and excellent birders, as guest speakers. “Circling the Stones: A Tour of Zimbabwe” – join Paul & Sally who will speak on their journey virtually circumnavigating Zimbabwe in August/September 2012, exploring the wonderful birdlife in the area.

Please note that the venue has changed – it is not at UKZN, Howard College campus, but has moved to the Westville Methodist Church, Supper Club, situated at 38 Jan Hofmeyer Rd., Westville.

Directions: From Durban – take the N3 to Pietermaritzburg, and exit at the Pavilion/Spine Road offramp, turning right and crossing over the motorway and entering St James Rd. There is a sign saying ‘Welcome to Westville’ a short while further on. Keep to the left and continue straight through two sets of traffic lights and go over the bridge above the M13. Immediately after the bridge turn to the left and enter Jan Hofmeyer Road. The church is the first entrance on your left and is well signposted. There is plenty of parking. Enter the working area and the venue is the first room on your left.

From the Upper Highway, either take the N3 to Durban and exit at the Pavilion/Spine Road offramp, and turn immediately left into St James Road. Then follow the directions as above.

You can also take the M13 and exit at Blair Atholl Rd, turn left and firstright at the traffic lights into Jan Hofmeyer Road. Continue past theWestville Veterinary Hospital on your left and shortly thereafter see the entrance to the Methodist Church on your right.

We hope to see many members there. Do come along for an enjoyable evening.

Refreshments available.

Kind regards
