The BirdLife Port Natal 65th AGM was held on Saturday 15th February at the Krantzkloof Interpretive Centre.

During the course of the proceedings, Lesley Frescura gave the Chair’s Report recounting the happenings over the past year and highlighting successes as well as calling for volunteers to join the club committee and a plea for each of us to recruit new members.

Awards were made to both Pat Long and Tessa White for their years of contribution to the club.

Professor Peter Ryan gave a very interesting talk on “The Prince Edward Islands: South Africa’s next birding frontier”.
